The role
For our Administration Team, covering HR, Finance, IT and Office Management, we are looking for a Finance Manager (65-100%) to join us from 1 March 2026 or earlier. You will be responsible for the foundation’s operational financial management. A key focus during the first year will be the final implementation and operational rollout of DATEV, with the goal of consolidating our accounting and controlling processes into one coherent system and actively shaping the digital interfaces with our project teams.
Preparatory accounting (reviewing invoices, assigning cost centres, approving documents)
Managing payment transactions (bank transfers, direct debits, invoice flows)
Ensuring compliance with funding regulations, procurement rules and donor guidelines
Managing public funding (e.g. financial reporting for interim, annual and final reports) and preparing the annual financial statements in close cooperation with our external tax advisors and the Team Lead Administration
Preparing financial reports and analyses (e.g. for management and the Board)
Further development, coordination and implementation of internal financial systems and processes together with the Head of Finance
Issuing donation receipts

Compensation is based on our internal salary scheme and depends on individual professional experience. For a full-time position (38 hours per week), the expected gross monthly salary ranges between €3,535.58 and €4,026.72; part-time compensation will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
